Privacy Policy

Overview

Stone Mosaic is a puzzle game published by AppSkor. You can play without creating an AppSkor account or giving AppSkor your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.

The App uses third-party services for advertising, consent management, analytics, crash reporting, and Game Center. Those services may automatically process technical and usage information as described below. The exact information processed can depend on your device, region, consent choices, and the features you use.

Information handled by the App

Game data stored on your device

Your current board, available pieces, score, best score, feature settings, and haptic preference are stored locally on your device so the game can work and resume later. AppSkor does not receive this locally stored game state unless part of it is included in a diagnostic report or submitted to Game Center as described below. Removing the App generally removes its locally stored data, subject to how Apple manages device backups.

Usage and analytics data

The App uses PostHog and AppSkor's feature service to understand how the App is used and to configure features. Information may include a randomly generated installation identifier, app launches, game starts, gameplay or session duration, selected settings, feature interactions, app version, operating system, device type, language, network information, and an approximate region inferred from an IP address. This information is used for analytics, feature configuration, and improving the App. It is not intended to directly identify you by name.

Crash and performance data

The App uses Bugsnag, a SmartBear service, to diagnose crashes and stability problems. Diagnostic reports may include a Bugsnag-generated device identifier, crash logs, stack traces, app state, session information, app version, operating system and device details, memory and performance information, timezone, and network information such as an IP address.

Advertising and consent data

The App uses Google Mobile Ads to display ads and Google's User Messaging Platform to request and record privacy choices where required. Google and its advertising partners may process IP address and approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ads shown or interacted with, product interactions, crash logs, performance data, and consent signals. Depending on your region, consent, device settings, and Google's available ad inventory, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Game Center

If you use Game Center, the App submits your score to Apple's leaderboard and may display Game Center information such as your nickname, avatar, and leaderboard position. Apple operates Game Center under its own privacy terms. AppSkor does not receive your Apple Account password or payment information.

Messages you send us

If you contact AppSkor, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and technical details. We use it to respond, provide support, protect the App, and meet legal obligations.

How information is used

AppSkor and its service providers use information to:

• operate, maintain, and provide the App;
• save progress and preferences on your device;
• provide leaderboards through Game Center;
• display, measure, limit, and help prevent fraud involving ads;
• understand feature usage and improve gameplay;
• detect, investigate, and fix crashes, errors, abuse, and security issues;
• comply with applicable law and enforce legal rights.

Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on one or more of the following: your consent, performance of a service you request, compliance with legal obligations, and AppSkor's legitimate interests in operating, securing, diagnosing, and improving the App. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Service providers and disclosures

Information may be disclosed to the following providers only for the functions described in this policy, or as otherwise required by law:

• Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform, for ads, consent management, measurement, and fraud prevention. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partners.
• PostHog, for product analytics and feature configuration. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
• Bugsnag by SmartBear, for crash reporting and stability monitoring. See SmartBear's Privacy Notice.
• Apple Game Center, for authentication and leaderboards. See Game Center and Privacy.

Providers may act as processors for AppSkor or as independent businesses under their own terms. They may use subprocessors and process information in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards are used by AppSkor or the relevant provider.

AppSkor may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect users or the public, investigate abuse, or protect AppSkor's rights and services. If the App or its business is transferred, relevant information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Advertising, tracking, and sale of data

AppSkor does not sell your personal information for money. Advertising technology may, however, involve sharing identifiers, usage information, approximate location, advertising data, and diagnostics with Google or advertising partners. Some privacy laws may define this activity as "selling," "sharing," "targeted advertising," or "tracking," even when no money changes hands.

Where required, the App asks for consent before requesting ads. You can also control tracking permissions in iOS under Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking, manage Game Center in iOS Settings, and manage relevant Google advertising choices through My Ad Center. You may contact AppSkor to withdraw consent or exercise a privacy right. Some choices may reduce ad relevance but should not prevent the core game from working.

Retention

Local game data remains on your device until it is replaced, reset, or removed with the App, subject to device backups. AppSkor retains analytics, feature, diagnostic, advertising, consent, and support information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the App. Retention periods can vary by data type and provider. Providers may retain information according to their own policies and AppSkor's account settings. Aggregated or de-identified information may be kept longer where permitted by law.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have a right to appeal a decision or complain to your local data protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.

To make a request, email privacy@appskor.com and identify Stone Mosaic in your message. Please do not send passwords, payment data, government identifiers, or other sensitive information. Because the App does not require an AppSkor account and much of the data uses pseudonymous identifiers, AppSkor may need limited technical information to locate a record and may be unable to connect some data to you.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. AppSkor does not knowingly ask children to provide personal contact information. Third-party services may apply age-related protections and consent requirements based on region and account settings. If you believe a child has provided personal information to AppSkor, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Security

AppSkor uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the App, service providers, or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date above will show when revisions were made. Material changes will be communicated in the App, on this page, or through another appropriate method when required by law.
